We Love Soul Pre-NYE Celebration

Celebrate the new year early with the self-proclaimed “party of the year,” featuring DJs Sean Alvarez, Duane Powell, Joe Kollege and special guest Craig Elliot. You can get $20 tickets online.
Bar Crawl ‘Til The Ball Falls
6 p.m. Saturday-2 a.m. Sunday
Rock Bottom Brewery, 1 W. Grand Ave.
Ring in the new year with a rawl through six participating River North bars, including Rock Bottom Brewery, Billy Goat Tavern and Mother Hubbard’s. You can buy tickets online — $30 per person or $90 for a group of four — for a night of celebration, drink specials and no cover.
A Pilsen New Year’s Eve
9 p.m. Saturday-3 a.m. Sunday
Simone’s, 960 W. 18th St.
There will be a raffle, photo booth, balloon drops, music and more at this two-room New Year’s extravaganza. You can buy $15 tickets online.
Jefferson Park Forward NYE Neighborhood Walk
9:30 a.m. Saturday
Weston’s Coffee, 4872 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Neighborhood group Jefferson Park Forward’s annual New Year’s Eve walk will stroll through the Northwest Side and take folks down Milwaukee Avenue to check out Kilbourn Park, Old Irving Park and the Villa District.
Family NYE Party
3-5 p.m. Saturday
ERIS Brewery and Cider House, 4240 W. Irving Park Road
You can enjoy a dinner buffet, doughnut bar, selfie station, dance party, balloon drop and mask decorating at this family-friendly New Year’s Eve party. Admission is $55 for adults, $20 for children 4 and older and free for children younger than 4. You can buy them online here.
Em And Nem Happy New Year Comedy Show
9-10:30 p.m. Sunday
Laugh Factory, 3175 N. Broadway St.
Laugh Factory has a special New Year’s Day lineup, including Calvin Evans, Joey Villagomez, LeLe MASON and Mike Samp. You can buy tickets for $20 online.
New Year Pajama Brunch
Noon-8 p.m. Sunday
Estrella Negra, 2346 W. Fullerton Ave.
You can wind down after a night of celebrations with brunch in your pajamas. Start off the new year by rolling out of bed and enjoying Estrella Negra classics, including chilaquiles, huevos rancheros and a concha burger. There will also be drink specials and small prizes for best pajamas.
New Year’s Eve At The Drake Hotel
Ring in the new year with more than 3,000 guests at Chicago Scene’s 22nd annual New Year’s Eve party, which features a 1,000+ balloon drop, midnight champagne toast, multiple bars, several ballrooms of entertainment, a buffet and more. Although most tickets are sold out, there are still a few options left for $255-$265. You can buy them online.
Unlimited Beer & BBQ NYE

District Brew Yards, 417 N. Ashland Ave.
Chicago’s only pour-your-own brewery is hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration. There will be a barbecue buffet, unlimited beer, specialty shots curated by the brewers, a live DJ and more. Tickets for $115-$150 are available online.
New Year’s Eve At Cubby Bear
9 p.m. Saturday-2 a.m. Sunday
The Cubby Bear, 1059 W. Addison St.
You can enjoy live music by The Red Roses Band, appetizers, a midnight champagne toast and more at this New Year’s Eve party in the heart of Wrigleyville. You can sign up for the waitlist or buy a VIP table (which includes a bottle of champagne) for $100 online.
Candlelight Acoustic Concert
6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday
5940 W. North Ave.
Enjoy the sultry vocals of Caress Sahura, complimentary spiked hot cocoa and a cookie bar at this BYOB candlelight concert. There is free street parking and limited seating. You can get $30 tickets online.
A New Year’s Eve Party At Gatsby’s House
8 p.m. Saturday-1:30 a.m. Sunday
Palmer House Chicago Hilton Hotel, 17 E. Monroe St.
End the year with a Gatsby-themed ballroom celebration. There will be DJs, bars, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, prepaid drinks and more. Tickets starting at $145 are available online.
‘The Shining’ Party At Illuminated Brew Works
6 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday
Illuminated Brew Works, 6186 N. Northwest Highway
Norwood Park’s funky brewery is transforming the inside and outside to look like the Overlook Hotel from “The Shining” for its New Year’s Eve party that will be complete with a hedge maze and other goodies, like a life-size dummy of Roger the dog man. Owners are encouraging folks to dress in formal attire.
Wrigleyville Bar Crawl
7 p.m. Saturday-1 a.m. Sunday
3655 N. Sheffield Ave.
You can bar crawl through the new year with hundreds of other Chicagoans this weekend. Participating bars include Cubby Bear, Murphy’s, Lucky’s, Sports Corner, Lucky Strike and more. There will also be a free appetizer buffet, gift cards to use during the crawl, a champagne toast and giveaways. You can buy tickets for $59 online.
Rock ‘Til The Drop
9 p.m. Saturday-4 a.m. Sunday
Hard Rock Cafe, 63 W. Ontario St.
There will be an all-inclusive premium cocktail reception, appetizer buffet, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, DJs and more at this Hard Rock celebration. You can buy tickets starting at $115 online, or get $30 tickets for the after party starting at 1:30 a.m.
